Blogs can also be served from a custom domain owned by the user (like www.example.com) by using DNS facilities to direct a domain to Google’s servers. A user can have up to 100 blogs per account.

Up until May 1, 2010, Blogger also allowed users to publish blogs to their own web hosting server, via FTP. All such blogs had to be changed to either use a blogspot.com subdomain, or point their own domain to Google’s servers through DNS.

Isitwp is a free and simple website that can be used to find if a website is on wordpress or not. This site only gives a Yes or No answer. So here are the steps:

  1. First visit This Website.
  2. Next, enter the domain name in place of ENTER YOUR DOMAIN NAME which you want to check.
  3. Click on Analyze Website.
  4. Done,you can now check and know if the website you are visiting is on WordPress or not.

Method 2: Find if a website is on WordPress or not using BuiltWith.Com

Builtwith is an alternative to IsitWp and it provides complete details of the website you want to search along with Yes or No answer. Follow the steps:

  1. Go to this website.
  2. Enter the domain name in place of ENTER A WEBSITE ADDRESS.
  3. Press Lookup.
  4. Done, you’ll be get complete details of the website.

Step 1:  Go  to www.wpthemedetector.com site.
Write the URL of the blog you want to check the theme of.
